Jaws Raw features the most aggressive grooves in golf, now with a raw face that promotes maximum spin. For the first time ever, Callaway is bringing tungsten technology to a wedge for a weight balanced club that offers both feel and control. These new technologies are balanced with the craftsmanship honed from Roger’s 40+ years of designing some of the most sought-after wedges in golf.

Total Spin Machine

Spin and control have been taken to new levels by leveraging:

• Razor sharp grooves, with a 37° wall angle to elevate the groove-edge sharpness. From 80 yards and in, these grooves promote a controlled "one hop and stop" trajectory.
• New raw face. The plating on the face has been removed which allows for rusting over time in the scoring zone, while maintaining the premium look throughout the rest of the clubhead. Removing the plating enables a more direct connection between the ball and the face at impact.
• Offset Groove-in-Groove Technology. Positioning the milled micro-grooves at a 20° angle promotes added spin on chips, pitches and lob shots.
• A muted toe pad on the face reduces glare at address.

New Weight Balanced Design for Enhanced Feel and Improved Scoring Performance

The Pitch, Gap, Sand, and Lob Wedges have been meticulously crafted to enhance their specific performance benefits. Tungsten is in a Callaway wedge for the first time ever, on the sand and lob wedges, to center the CG position for control and feel. Variable length hosels are engineered to control trajectory while enhancing forgiveness.

Versatility and Shot Making Loft/Bounce Options

The all-new Z grind is a more forgiving low bounce option, with an aggressive leading-edge chamfer that improves turf interaction. This chamfer acts as a “skid plate” to help reduce digging on chip and pitch shots. All sand and lob wedge grinds also feature a leading-edge chamfer that is designed to reduce digging.

Along with the all-new Z grind, the comprehensive Jaws Raw lineup includes the standard S, wide sole W, and high bounce X grind, providing 17 loft and bounce combinations per finish. There’s a wedge to fit every type of player in this extensive lineup.

In designing the Jaws Raw, legendary wedge maker Roger Cleveland has created a classic design, with a straighter leading edge and a smooth hosel connection that removes any notch near the heel. This is feedback straight from the Tour, so golfers everywhere can enjoy Tour-level wedge performance.

C Grind

A popular grind on Tour, truly built for skilled shot makers. With toe and heel relief, the leading edge will stay low even when you open the face. Players who can maintain swing speed through the ball are able to manufacture a variety of greenside shots.

J Grind

Featured only on the Jaws Raw Full Toe wedge, J grind was developed specially for a full toe shape with more camber front to back, and toe to heel, to expose the generous bounce. This bounce features even more relief on the heel to allow players the versatility of opening the face. It’s a forgiving grind with a pre-worn leading edge and 10° of bounce.

Z Grind

S Grind

Standard medium-width sole with a slight ribbon at the back, and moderate heel relief to keep the leading-edge low through impact. A small leading-edge chamfer is employed for enhanced turf interaction. This is Callaway’s most popular grind option for a wide variety of conditions and swing types.
