Titleist GT2 Driver
The Titleist GT2 Driver is engineered for players who don’t always find the center of the face but demand a high-MOI driver with uncompromised speed. Delivering impressive distance from any impact point, the GT2 maximizes performance through forgiving design, balancing speed and stability. With advanced technology, it provides consistently powerful results and inspires confidence at every swing.
Revolutionizing driver design, the Seamless Thermoform Crown is crafted from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This ultra-lightweight composite enhances the GT2's structural integrity while delivering optimal sound and feel.
The GT2’s breakthrough Split Mass Construction optimizes internal weighting by strategically distributing mass to the back for enhanced MOI and stability while shifting weight forward for improved speed and spin control.
The Speed Ring VFT Face combines an upgraded titanium Speed Ring with variable face thickness technology. This innovation stabilizes the perimeter for maximum center-face speed while maintaining fast ball speeds across the entire surface, ensuring explosive performance from any impact location.
With its refined shape and advanced weight distribution, the GT2 driver redefines aerodynamic efficiency. The sharper contours and progressive design reduce drag, increasing clubhead speed while maintaining the classic, Tour-preferred Titleist profile.
The GT2 offers enhanced customization through an interchangeable back weight. This feature allows fitters to fine-tune headweight and swingweight for a tailored blend of launch, ball speed, and stability, ensuring optimal performance for every player.
Featuring an array of high-performance options from Tour-trusted manufacturers, the GT2’s shaft lineup caters to every swing profile. Each shaft is meticulously crafted to deliver precision and power, giving golfers the perfect match for their game.
Premium shafts by Graphite Design, including the Tour AD VF, use advanced TORAYCA™ carbon fibers and cutting-edge materials.

The GT2 driver is definitely forgiving! Its spin and launch characteristics are probably better suited for someone who is less consistent off the tee. But even though the GT2 model is probably not the model designed for my game, I have to say that this club looks terrific. The major change from the TSR to the GT is the proprietary material in the crown that is extremely lightweight, so my expectation was a wild look that showed off the multi-material aspect. Instead it’s sleek and seamless and not distracting at all. I love the way this club sets up and looks at address..
My biggest surprise was with the distance I was getting with this club even on off center strikes. I struggled hitting the center of the face with the GT2 but I saw essentially the same type of distance numbers as the better strikes with my current club. It has a very sleek design too. I was very impressed with how clean the topline was and the confidence that it gives you at address . It has a very different sound and I find it preferable compared to the sound from hitting the “Carbon” face of my current gamer.
